Rahul Dravid, India’s head coach, paid respect to Stuart Broad and recalled his great bowling combo with James Anderson.Following the Ashes, England seamer Stuart Broad announced his retirement from cricket.
The 37-year-old made the news following the third day of the fifth and final test against Australia at the Oval on Saturday.
Broad will exit the game as the second most successful paceman in Test history, trailing only teammate James Anderson, and fifth overall.

“My last game of cricket will be tomorrow or Monday,” Broad told Sky Sports.
“It is been a fantastic ride, and it is been a huge privilege to wear the Nottinghamshire and England badges as much as I have,” Broad added.
Rahul Dravid, India’s head coach, paid tribute to Broad and reflected on his career. Dravid praised Broad’s longevity in the game, saying that his bowling tandem with Anderson will be remembered for years to come.
“I think he is been a fantastic bowler.” In his post-match press conference, Dravid said, “I think his partnership with Jimmy Anderson will always be remembered.”
